Just a quick question regarding RTH in the spark. In the manual it says obstacle avoidance doesn't work outside 100 meters when returning home,
My question is when you have reached inside 100 meters on your RTH will it now work ?
This is not very clear in the manual would be grateful if you could get any information on this.

It won't work, even though it have reached inside 100 meters when it is returning home from a position outside 100 meters.

Watched so many YouTube clips on the Spark already and have a question.

When using gesture control to "wave" the Spark away after it takes off from palm, will it crash into overhanging tree branches as it flies backwards and upwards since its crash avoidance sensors are forward and downward facing?

Jimmy , I would recommend you fly it in a open area, the drone can't avoid the obstacles above, beside, or behind it. Besides, small and fine object(e.g. tree branches and power lines) or transparent objects(e.g. glass or water) may be unable to avoid.

Can anyone help me with my spark? The second time when i charge my spark, only one green light indicator and keep on blinking even after 80min.. can someone help me?

And, if I may add, this open area must be sufficiently large. It might be larger than one thinks. (I had my Spark crash in trees during Flight Mode Helix, while I thought I was on sufficient open space). Luckily DJI has very good repair service, but it is always better to avoid a crash.

Sorry to hear about the crash. It is always recommended to fly in an open and wide area, besides the environment, also need to fly it with caution.
How about the drone now? Had you got the repaired drone?

Sure! VERY WIDE and open.
Yes. The Dutch repair service was so kind to send my Spark to my holiday address in Italy. It arrived yester day. And another good point is that I now have the desired blue top while only the white top is still deliverable in The Netherlands!

I don't know how I did it, but Spark shot a video while in Hand Gesture mode. My kid was trying to take selfies. When I checked the sd card, we found it shot video the whole time.

There is a new gesture (hold 1 arm out at a 45 degree angle from your body) to record videos!
