The replacement unit i received has this issue that cannot be solved by a cold imu and gimbal calibration.
This angle error is irritating and creates an uneven horizon when moving forward.
I waited for this replacement unit for 2 and a half months(and lost that much DJI Care flight time) and I'm really not willing to part again from my drone for that long...so is there a "secret" way to fix this issue without invalidating the warranty?

There is a procedure you can try.. Let me find the thread really quick.. It fixed both my P4 and P4P..

Look at this thread.. You are basically going to calibrate your gimbal with your Phantom balanced on its rear end..

Here is what I am talking about.. Read through the thread if you like.. But the summary would be put your Phantom on a level surface and sit it this way (it will balance) then do your gimbal calibration.

Give what Mobilcams provided a try and let us know if it persists. Could you also verify what firmware version you're running on the unit?

Good afternoon, I'm reviving this thread after a while because I've not been able fix this issue myself with the afore mentioned methods and the local DJI authorized assistance has been bouncing my drone back and forth for two months with nothing accomplished stating that the camera itself is in an acceptable status.
Needless to say that I'm offly angered by this situation and I find unacceptable such an answer as my euros were all good down to the last coin while the drone is not.
Now this infamous local assistance named "Biz Model" is not to be trusted in my opinion and I would like to know if this is an issue that Holland DJI assistance would fix under warranty.
I've measured the error, it's a steady 3.1 degrees.

My yaw is approximately 8 degrees to the left and since the upgrade to GO-4 I am unable to calibrate the yaw. The auto calibration does not fix this issue.
Can anyone help please?

I had to send it back two times before they finally gave me a unit without defects. On the Inspire they introduced a feature to calibrate manually the yaw axis for the gimbal, isn't there a similar feature on the P4P now?

I had this issue right out of the box. I did the rotation left and right then stood it up on its ass and calibrated it. Camera is realigned. Thanks
