There are YT videos with various (usually AGL) altitude records. Google is your friend.

The max hight is as far as  little spark will go, 1.2 miles straight up with out issue. Maybe a tad more with great RC to AC connection. Now is it legal? That's a question you have to ask yourself after looking at your local UAV laws.

Depends on where you live after next week. Before anyone freaks out, 400 feet high is very high for a drone of this size.

Section 366 says there are no restrictions for hobby unmanned aircraft. However there is a part in there that says that if someone lives within 5 miles of an airport that they should ATC ,out of common courtesy, to give them heads up.
"Fly responsibly and with common courtesy"
We don't need more restrictions. Don't become that 1% that ruins it for the other 99%.
