Has anybody ever tried this? I did a antenna upgrade on my wifi and main controller for the P2V. I took props off, did all prechecks like I was going to fly, placed drone on roof of house which is about 9ft above ground. Turned everything on and walked down road with a clear view until I lost signal. I was walking along a ditch which put the radio about 3 ft above street level. the whole time I had clear view to my house and I got about 125 yards before I lost signal. I know this isn't a accurate as flying, but I wanted to see how far I could get at ground level before losing it. I have one of each 9DB 2.4G 14 inch antennas on radio and Wi-Fi extender. The Wi-Fi has the one stock antenna still hooked up. so basicly its running 2.
