Hi there
I have come across this website: https://airdata.com/ , which analyses your drone flight log data. It is very interesting. However, upon uploading some of my Mavic flight data, I noticed that I had a LOT of Minor signal Errors. Knowing this could be due to interference, I went out into the countryside, but to no avail. The signal was poor enough that I actually lost signal (hence the flight log is in two parts)
Check out my flight here:
part1: http://app.airdata.com/main?share=KRBXnB
part2: http://app.airdata.com/main?share=FrzmGL
(minor signal error is under sensors)

Is this amount of Minor signal errors normal? I'm concerened this may lead to a fly away or signal loss when the drone is far away!

This is my first forum post so thanks for any help

That is not normal.

Under notifications you are having data loss.  You are in an open field too.  Very strange.

Some of your signals are a bit more than minor, you may be in an area of high interference or you may have antennas positioned wrong. Other thing is your RC in los of your aircraft.

So after checking your flight out I've been having similar issues and decided to upload my flight. I don't know what is it that we're doing wrong but if anyone has any tips for OP and I please let us know! http://app.airdata.com/main?share=VAMvEm

Just curious, are you using Android or IOS?

You are going to have a return to home at some point if that keeps happening.

Are your antennas positioned properly with the flat side facing the drone?  If the tip is facing the drone, your range will be severely limited.

Your signal between remote and aircraft is showing weak for a lot of your flight, I think it's the area your flying in, lots of houses factories anything that's using same frequencies as your Mavic is going to have an effect on your signal, I would suggest you go somewhere else to fly where there is less interference.
This should give you an idea what's happening.

SolesForSouls: Looks like normal interference from a commercial area.  Probably from Mario the Baker :-)

I had a lot of sensor errors when I was using an android phone. I changed to ios and have very few signal errors now unless someone comes near to me with another transmitter (RC) and possibly their phone in their pocket. I fly in an area with both drones and model aircraft and only see the problem when someone else walks close to me with their transmitter.

Thanks for all the replies - I'm using android, I'll try and upload a flight with IOS shortly. The  antennas are positioned like they are in the DJI tutorial - with one the opposite way round from the other but both pointing straight upward, flat edge facing the Mavic. I'm not using any range extending device or anything. The entire time I had a great line of sight to my aircraft, and being in the middle of nowhere I assume no interference - the K index value was also low.
I'm stumped, do you recommend a warranty return?

I would try different area with iOS if you can,but you really should not be having these problems.

I always put my phone in Airplane Mode before flying.  See if that helps.

I have recently bought the Mavic Pro, all was well until I realised that it was normal for the RC to lose signal with the aircraft when it was more than 100 metres away. In normal flight mode I wouldn’t be flying the aircraft that far away but the other evening got for 250 metres away and it lost contact and returned home. A friend has same Mavic and he got his aircraft over 450 metres away in the same location and no issue. I have attached flight data. First one is mine second is friends flight. Any clue why my RC and Mavic loses contact at this distance. For your information I have updated ted firmware on Mavic and RC unit.
Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks
