Hi Guys,

I took these pictures when I was down in Dorset.

They're a bit experimental so let me know your thoughts...

Cheers,
Paul

Thank you!

Nothing special really, just Adobe Lightroom.  Each photo is typically made up from a series of multiple bracketed pictures, which I merge and stitch together.

Awesome photos, great job. So did you shoot multiple photos in RAW and then stack them for better quality? Because the RAW quality of the mavic isn't the best...

Yes exactly.

I shot AEB 5 for each portion of the photo. I then produce a HDR, and then stitch all together.

Really like the morning mist and above the clouds. What height were the clouds at, any video of you coming up through them?

Old thread, I know Paul, but worthy of a bump. Can't wait for the better weather to arrive to get over to Brownsea. DH.

Hi Astrofly,

The altitude is roughly 350 to 400m (approx)

They are great!! Good job! Did you take it using pano option, or took each picture manually to stitch and process later on computer?

Thank you. They were all done manually, roughly about 30 shots per picture i.e. 5x bracketed then stitched together all in Lightroom

Great Images..
Do you know of any tutorials for taking the bracketed images and getting the best parts of each to make the final?

I have been using layers in PS and then blending but not sure that's the best way!!

Great Images..
Do you know of any tutorials for taking the bracketed images and getting the best parts of each to make the final?

This Youtube might help you a little I think....

However would you not be best doing a HDR merge, especially if using bracketed shots, and then process accordingly?

Alternatively you could HDR merge a few images selectively and then layer mask the images produced with the other images from the bracketed stack? (if you know what I mean?)

Do you have Lightroom as well? I use to always use PS exclusively, but now I use Lightroom mostly and then sharpen within PS for my final output.

For sharpening I use something like this tutorial...
