Can someone please help explain why there are 3 different maps each talking about different restrictions?

Also, if an old version of DJI GO is being used - will that cause problems when we try to "unlock" restricted zones? (We use old versions of DJI GO due to stability issues)

I suggest you read the text which is included at the top of the maps in your links.

In summary, it appears the first link is for the older geo system.  The second link is for countries which uses the new geo system.  This third link is for all the P1s and P2s which are still out there in the world.  This is plainly explained in the text of the links you provided.  Hope this helps.

Hmmm, you could make that conclusion but it's still not very clear - and it would be better for DJI to clarify this.

It's as accurate as it can be at the time.  Nobody thinks its perfect.

"This list is only valid for the Inspire and Phantom 3 series or newer products."

Full warning zone indicators built in to DJI GO as GEO

3) http://www.dji.com/fly-safe/category-mc?w&www=v1
"This list is only valid for the Phantom 2 series or older products."

And as we can see on that perfect example, the best is to have NO GEO, use old NFZ system and avoid f/w and dji go app updates and connection to the DJI servers.
