I bought a mavic propeller cage but I know that in use it has problems.
It seems that the propeller cage causes an anomaly in flight control.
Has anyone else used it?

Did you switch to the cage mode on the DJI GO4 app?

I don't have the cage but it's critical you turn on the DJI GO 4 Cage mode option as mentioned above. I have a friend using it and has reported no problems (it does reduce performance and flight time but this is to be expected).

Other than the reduced flight time how does he like them? I had heard that they started shipping a while back but hadn't heard anybody offer an opinion of the cage other than a claim that the Mavic is noisier with the propeller cage than without.

He only uses it when doing deliberate close flying such as structure inspections or flying in trees.  It's a pain to install because you have to change out the props and it's no longer portable so it's special use accessory.  He didn't mention noise.

I guess the OP has left the building,....or earth.
