I was wondering if anyone knew the restrictions for flying over the falls on Canada OR New York side. When I say flying over I do not mean directly. I would never do that due to the massive gusts the falls create. On that note, I have a part 107 and am aware that Canada just released new rules regarding flying. But those regulations are for recreational pilots, not commercial. Anyone have any knowledge of this? Would Canada recognize my part 107 license? TIA

first of all you are not suppose to fly near the border. We all want to take that shot

then there's the air traffic.. i say if you can't beat em join em. heli tours cris-crossing from the gorge all the way up river beyond the falls and back on a non-stop basis there during the day. my suggestion is to take one, i've done it twice now, completely satisfied to keep the bird grounded while at the falls now lol
