I'm on firmware v01.03.0200 and Go app 4.02 - No issues. Was going to update to .400 but it's no longer available. Was planning on moving to .700 but due to reports of NFZ limits with people not able to fly indoors, I decided to stay on .200. If .400 becomes available or a way to upgrade, I think I would do it. I read somewhere that the newest version of the firmware (.800) and app 4.10 will allow DJI to make any zone a NFZ in real time. Also, any new version updates will become mandatory or be restricted. Not sure if 100% true but just throwing it out there.

Not any problem, feels / fly more stable to me than previous firmware.

i am using the .0800 no problems

800 firmware for me is the best so far. i had problems with 600,700 but the current one is great and has fix issues like the nfz that used to display in the previous firmware, thumbs up for 800 dji ;)

I agree I'm finding 800 a big improvement on all other firmware, very happy with it.

Are you saying the NFZ limit message displayed with previous firmware is no longer with this .800 firmware?

I'm about to purchase a Mavic pro but I'm concerned about the new firmware issues people are having with drop connections. Is this something I should worry about?

read the manual first, get a good phone/tablet and will work fine.. i donno nothink about iOS but on android firmware 6.0.1 i think is the best, never had a problem with my Mavic

Do you mean that I should return to the previous version of the firmware?
I am not sure that I would want to do that.
I wish there were a better solution...

UPDATE: I just saw that the DJI GO 4 app was updated to version 4.1.2

I'm still on .400 and not in a rush to update, but I will someday if I really needs to.

OK, zoom in and zoom out are working now.
Obviously the update in DJI GO 4 version 4.1.2. fixed the problem.

Flying with the latest firmware and having no issue at all. IMHO The BIG problem driving setup "stability" is the app, not the firmware.

They do not work for me either unless in "recording" mode. When recording, they do work.

Kind of strange, probably another bug.

I both mine one week ago and arrive with version 0400 and so far so good. Only issue is with the DJI Go App but with the phone in flight mode, only gps on, is working perfect with all fligh modes, camera manual adjustments, Camera Filters.

Already tried almost every trick, included that... the problem looks to be the GPS fix on Mavic. As soon as the Mavic fixes the GPS, the app crash (in fact, I can fly with no issues indoor)

In the end, decided to downgrade to DJI GO app 4.0.5 and no problem at all!

I am currently on the second to the latest firmware.   I have not upgraded to the very latest firmware that just dropped a few days ago.  Does it add any good new features?  I could have sworn that when it originally popped up on my phone that it said that the new firmware limited the distance that you were able to fly the drone from your remote. Is there any truth to that?   Sorry if that is a newbie question...

Version 4.1.2 of DJI GO 4 (Android) fixed zoom in and zoom out for me.
Try this version, perhaps it'll work for you as well.

Yes, when using the RC without a smartphone, the limits are 30 meters up and 50 meters distance.
For practicing this is ideal.

I've been on .400 all the time...just switched to .800 and have no issues

no problem on .800 ...everything works fine, made a flight with no problem

I was on an earlier version than available choices, but have decided to update to 800 because of this thread. Made me go to 400 first, which I thought was weird. In progress on 800 update now and am flying this afternoon.

So I wanted time to fully test out v0.800 and make sure I don't experience any issue as I don't want to upgrade while I"m out of country if for some reason I should have issues.   I haven't experienced any issues with about 2 batteries used up; would try today buy it's been raining.

No reason to upgrade (or not).  I'd stay on 0.400 until a feature comes out that you like...

FYI, been to Portugal a few times- love your country.  Heart goes out for the terrible fires there!

I updated on Thursday morning as soon as I saw it was released - with no problem with the result.

The only slight hitch to the process was that after the update downloaded to my iPad Mini 4 via Go 4 - Go 4 just sat there without doing anything except saying that the download was 100%.  I just had to shut everything down and restart and then it loaded and installed in less than 20 minutes.  Friday I updated my other 4 batteries and everything has been fine.  Some settings were reset but that's come to be the norm on these updates.

Think I'm going through that process now?  Been about half an hour after it's notified 100%.  Have to laugh when it tells you to make sure the battery is above 50% when you start because it has certainly drained it since!

I have only flown one battery full with .800 (using Go 4 on Google Pixel in rc), but no problems at all so far.

Has not (yet?) been asked to re-login.

I upgraded to 800 through the iOS app and lost auto focus functionality.  Downgraded to 700 and upgraded again to 800 with the assistant software and now have autofocus back again.

Great!  To find out the regulations, you go to the Hellenic Aviation Authority.  From there they have a system where you can submit your flight plans and/or register the location you intend to fly.  They will then grant/deny the request.  Unfortunately, they have yet to 'go live' with their system, therefore you don't have a choice to even use it .  I haven't checked lately to see if it is up.  Generally they have a 400' AGL and a 50m distance rule for rec flights if I recall.  

FYI in Santorini there are "No Drone Signs" around OIa.  These are put their by locals...there is no bylaw.  Simply printed of the net and posted.  You may fly but just don't fly directly over people on the main area or be too close to private residences/hotels to respect privacy and you should be ok.  The key is to be respectful; nobody wants to be bothered by low and loud flights (or their will become strict regulation).  There is the main airport (only one) on the back side of the island so I would not fly there.  There is of course the occasional heli flight so I would avoid being high over the water and be closer inland.  Enjoy!

0800 and no issues so far. Still getting used to it but everything seems to run fine for me with the latest Firmware Update.
