168ft = 51m ... that means you are not loghed in to dji go ...if you are not loghed in your flight distance will be reduce to 50m and 30m Height

Just got my Mav pro, came with 800. I;ve had terrible lag issues with any android device I;ve tested, not a firmware issue, but an android issue I assume.
As a last resort, I hooked up to my daily Samsung 5 phone & great picture, no lag whatsoever, but, I really don't want to use my daily phone , plus screen to small for me.
I;ve read the Acer iconia one, is a tablet that works very well, looking for one now.
ps- I;ve been flying a P3A for about 12 months, using the Nividia shield which is a killer device for go app.
If I could find a way to mount on the Mavic pro, I would use it for both birds!

i use my daily phone ...Samsung S5 ... no problem ...

Bought my Mavic yesterday- first drone ever. Updated firmware, had first flight and everything went great! Love this thing!

hey nephfroghost - keep it close in the beginning and the beginning should be a good while - you should always fly vlos - watch the wind - set your battery warning to at least 35% - rather get home with extra battery than not get home because you just did not have enough. Good luck, have fun, fly safe and dont lose the darn thing

i always upgrade - red flashing advise signs freak me out too much - and i like to see what got better

yeah ...me to ...i wait 2..3 days to see if is there a bug than update

You can read about the FW before updating! Tree climbing dude get freaked out because of a flashing red...

Until DJI changes their screwed up login, tracking and mining my data. I will stay with .700

OP should also ask on what device. Thatd be really helpful as well

Using .900 and have no issues as far as flying is concerned. Not sure why my flight distance not updating on DJI Me, but that could more likely be GO4 issue.

yeah...it`s Go4 issue , i did not update go4 to the latest firmware... but i think the issue is only on android and on every update i made to go4 it was that problem...so i will not update to the latest Go4

Someone with GalaxyS5 who made an update to DjiGo4-4.1.5 and can tell us if there are problems with GalaxyS5 android 6.0.1, I know there are problems with GalaxyS6 and S7

Doing well with the latest.  .09 - I have Samsung S7 and latest OS for it.  I do turn off wifi and blutooth and have phone settings for Display set to Mode:  Basic and Resolution:  1920 x 1080.

900 here think its OK. New user so not sure

same here with .900 but i ask about Go4 4.1.5 if someone update

sorry for my naive question but how can you fly with an old firmware? DJI app goes crazy with the warnings and all other pop-ups.

Just IGNORE the alert and say "NO" and click on the blue "GO FLY" and then really Go Fly   and have fun!

Just a note, I always fly in airplane mode, force closed all apps.

Problem comes when you try to fly only with DJI glasses. There is a height and distance limit. You need to open DJI Go 4 before flight to unlock limitations. I have Sonny Z1 - USB input is on the left or on the right and need an additional cable ...

My mavic came out with .800 pre installed so I didn't have a choice and I updated to .900 with no problems

700 is the most stable less restricted and easy to mod.

I update last night.  It takes a long while for the MP and the batteries take a while after you put each one on and power up.  You will see the middle two lights only on the battery as the battery updates (one steady the other blinking).  I flew twice today and had zero problems got some nice vided and sharp photos.

Don't know the problems every release have, i use .900 and everything ok for me, maybe one day a real post to understand every release experience can be usefull

I just bought my Mavic on Friday, so im running whatever came on it

you can check on your remote the version, or you can install dji assistant on you pc...connect you drone and see the version

It seems that updating firmware is very risky!

downgraded back to version 700 as that one is the most stable ive found, but head tracking dont work with the goggles on this version but i didnt like headreacking any way ;)

When it tells me to upgrade, I upgrade .... we all have the option of dropping back should any problems arise. Some upgrades reset the camera settings so I tend to go back in and set them back to my personal choices.

It's worth making a list of the choices you have selected so you can revert to them.

Anyone know if its possible to update the goggles to .1000 but leave the mavic on .900 ? will everything still work?

The upgrade went smoothly, but am getting ready to put it into the air......

.08 here latest seems most stable yet for me since .3 .
