just upgraded both RC and AC today to latest firmwares with latest Go App.
Since i am already logged in on my phone, so Go app only ask to agree to new policy 30/50m.
I got my Mavic GPS locked in, get it up in the sky at 300ft and flew 2700ft away without an issue.
I flew it at home which was surrounded by at least 130ft tall trees but there is still some gaps to fly within VLOS.
My phone was connected to wifi at that time. Will try again with airplane on.
My thought, you have never logged in, it might have issue especially for new pilots.

You don't need any wifi connection but try it out.

Well you may very well be right, I suppose now if you fly 3 miles and 400 meters high you won't be able to claim it was dji's fault because you can fly your aircraft  this far and high.
Make those who fly these Aircraft responsible for there own S# IT.
