Why would you think that DJI would impose blanket flight restrictions on you?
Here's a clue .... they don't.

"Your right" dji have no right to impose flight restrictions on anyone, but the truth of the matter is they didn't, so I'm afraid if you were looking for a refund it ain't gonna happen.

I disagree.  They programmed the product with the restrictions.  The rules are the FAA's to enforce.  If a person in a company does something against the rules. do you fire everyone that works there? No, you take of the offender.  Yes. I know there is no refund coming

Just take a look at this and you can tell me what restrictions have been imposed on you. Although it's a video about Mavic it applies exactly the same for Phantom.
