Hi there! I've had the Mavic Pro for a week now, and everything is fine, except for one thing. I can't access the intelligent flight modes on the Mavic Pro. I followed all the instructions. I am in p-mode, the battery is over 50%, and I am higher than 3 meters from the ground! When I select active track, nothing happens. Then a warning says that I can't use the flight mode and I should try again later. Also, I can't use all 12-flight modes! When I select a flight mode, the same thing happens and the warning shows on the display. By the way, I am with the latest firmware. Is the problem from the phone? I am using Samsung A3, which is not recommended. Are any things which have to be turned on, in order to access the flight modes? Please HELP!

Not sure if intelligent flight modes are available in "Beginner Mode" ? Are you in Beginner Mode by any chance ?

No, I am not in beginner mode!

Did you enable Multiple Flight Mode in menu?

I have been using the different flight modes without that function switched on - I believe that only allows the P-S switch to function to get you into sports mode.

i bet he is not enabling the inteligent flights modes

Enable flight modes when aircraft is turned on. You can enable if aircraft is turned off.

I have the same problem and it arisen after the latest firmware update.
Almost 6 month I used different modes from with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and now I'm unable to do it.

Does anybody know how to solve the issue except the change the phones ?

I've got a similar problem.  After firmware update the intelligent flight mode only appear when I'm in Beginner mode (when connected to the drone) and disappears when I switch out of Beginner. BUT - offline intelligent flight mode (icon) does show in and out of Beginner mode.  Wondering if there is a mismatch of software /firmware ???

Sorry - controller is same version as aircraft 01.04.0000

There is no error message.  Simply no icon to tap to enter Intelligent Flight Mode at left of screen below Take off and RTH icons.    Icon is only there in Beginner mode.

Dear Susan,

Mavic Pro has V 01.04.0000,  app version is 4.1.10. Phone is Samsung Galaxy S5.
After take off and trying to switch to intelligent modes it show the warning "Cannot enter the selected flight mode. Try again later"

Double check, are you in Sport Mode? Also, according to the screenshot you offered, it seemed that you are indoor where GPS signal is not well. Please change to another open location with good GPS signal to confirm.

Hi Susan!

Of course I checked several times whether the controller is witched to sport mode or not.

As for screenshot, yes, I made it in home through the All Warnings menu in app, which showed warnings which I had when trying to switch on the intelligent mode during several flights outdoor in October.

As you can see, the IFM icon is available in Beginner mode both on the ground and when flying (but disabled when accessed - which is normal), but in Normal flight mode there is no IFM icon showing either when the aircraft is on the ground or when it is flying.

Is this everything you need  ?

Well - problem seems to have been solved by switching OFF multiple flight mode !    I can now see IFM icon when Multiple Mode is switched OFF and P is selected.  All IFM options available and functional.

Well noted. Please upload a complete video of this for better assistance, including the About page. Also, I would recommend you to change another recommended to verify if applicable. It will be helpful to locate the exact reason, thanks for cooperation.

To clear things up...I'm in P Mode.  If I enable multiple flight mode, the IFM icon disappears on the main screen.   If multiple flight mode is DISABLED, then IFM is visible

What about the side switch that switches between Sport mode and normal mode.  Just in case if you havn't already switched that.

Yea!!!  It worked !!! Turned off Intelligent Flight Modes, and IFM icon came back, did a POI perfectly, altho windy.

THE VERSION IS 4.2.6

Hi. I had the same problem. I just got a new iPhone 7+ and have the latest app version 4.2.6

Intelligent Flight Mode is only functional when disabling intelligent flight modes. Otherwise, everything else seems to be functioning normally.
