While in gesture modes is the drone recording video ? And if not how do I turn on video recording while using gesture mode ??

I've been looking for the same = get the thing flying and then record video (without using phone).

So far it seems like you can only do a "Selfie" (photo) in Gesture Mode.
So if you want to gesture and have it track you + record video, you'll need to bring that phone...

Dammmm .... If you can make a gesture to take a pic ...why wouldn't they make a gesture to activate video recording ????

Thanks man... I got a question, some reviewer said that the DJI Spark can only record 1080p video. Is that ture? any upgraded version? I prefer to get a 4K cameras as most of the camera drone do...

Ya. Spark is 1080p 30 frames per second max.

Why in gesture mode / active track does Spark take photo in lower resolution?

I have designed a website with really good SPARK videos and will add more that I find worthwhile.  There will be none with music only which I find very distracting.  The website is at https://websitesbycook.com/spark Enjoy.

Am I the only one who reads manuals anymore? Would have loved some details in those. I am super excited about the gesture mode being able to record, that has been a big let down for me.

How do panorama pics get stitched?  The 9 pics are on the SD, but no sign of any completed stitched pano in sight?

The composite pano picture can be found in DJI Go APP but it has been compressed, we recommend to compound the 9 pictures with third party software.

its possible internal use?

At the moment it just takes pictures in Gesture mode. hope firmware update will fix that

Anyone got an official dji video on how to do a compass calibration for a dji spark?
I ask because the 2nd phase of the calibration, the app shows the spark sideways and the manual shows nose down. Historically with all dji products it has been nose down.

I suggest following the manual with "nose down". I have no issue following that until now.

You can do it both ways, it makes no difference.

Your obviously not looking for the answer, I have given to you but it's right,  If you calibrating without being prompted that might be your first mistake.

Hi I'm getting 'invalid code' when attempting to Activate the Aircraft
Launch DJI GO 4, tap the icon in the upper right corner, scan the QR Code on the storage box or in the
battery compartment, and follow the prompt for activation. Is my spark already activated? I don't received the activating code or link mentioned in the message.  Any help would be appreciated.

Video in Gesture mode

I don't know how we did this, but its a video while in Gesture Mode. We were just trying to take selfies.

After software update Spark record video in gesture mode.

Can you a video on how to use DJI GO 4 App Editor?

Is this the right place to get product support for the Spark. Just got mine. Managed to take off ok but the return to home didn't work first time so had to land manually. Noticed the front two lights are always on steady red but it flies fine and has landed on its own since. Also the gimbol is at a slight angle so I had to adjust it in the settings to -8.8 just for it to be level. That doesn't seem right as surely level should be at 0? When I take the Roll down to 0 it's at a complete angle and can't go any further so going +1 to +8 has no effect. Also, since Level is -8.8 I can only take slightly in the other direction as it only goes to -10.

Any advice?

I purchased spark few days ago and im having little issues with it which is worrying me alot when I record a footage it records fine, when i play it back on my phone or on my PC there seems to be alot of Interference with the footage, No error messages show up while im recording, it is only 10 or 20m away from me so signal is perfect, and its not windy. Please HELP!!!
