I just purchased the Spark Fly More Combo and currently have a Google Pixel phone. I would like to connect my phone to the remote control using a standard Micro USB to USB C data cable. Will this be sufficient or do I need a dedicated OTG cable/adapter? Thanks!

You need otg. Data cable won't work.

I would not suggest to use this feature as it has not been tested officially.
