It was fun to shoot. I have a simulator with a football field and I fell like I could have done this field in my sleep because I've done a thousand flights over it in the software.

Thanks for the link.  I'm going to give it a try.  Seems like a great way to practice maneuvers without a risk to the drone.  Of course, I'll need to get a compatible controller as I see DJI controllers are listed as not compatible.

I bought the Orqa but I don't recommend it. It broke in a month. A PS2 controller for$ 20 works great. Start with the free version and buy what you like. You will love it. It is completely realistic. You can program in weather. It's a great way to practice in the winter months.

Good to that a PS2 controller works.  I downloaded the free trial and will progress from there.  Thanks again for the tip on this simulator.

Enjoy it. You will have fun. If you use Dronelogbook.com you can track your real and simulated flights too. Which is pretty good. It will import them as you fly.

Thanks, I don't always get it right but I try. It's funny what you think is perfect on the little screen on your controller is rarely lined up the way you think. Then you get home and find dissapointment.

I really appreciate you sharing.    I'm totally addicted to scuba diving and I got two of my grandsons involved in the sport and they are both now open water certified so we get to do a lot of dives together.  I love drone flying but not totally hooked on it, not yet anyways.

Scuba diving is a thrill. Drones are tame in comparison. You are physically doing something with Scuba.

Indeed, the display in these portable things is always a challenge. Needs to be small enough to carry around, but having it tiny causes trouble in monitoring the exact details. I've felt the pain with the Pocket 2's minuscule display when attempting to get sharp stable images, but not much you can do before the size of the display on becomes the problem on the other end of the scale in a way or another.

I do like new technology most of the time, though there are some things that would have been better left uninvented. But I have not much against the Osmo Pocket series so far.

It looks like it does a great job. I have the osmo 3. It's not bad but no great in low light.

I have no idea about american football, but that is a cool shot.
