Added Waypoints (requires DJI GO 4 v4.3.12 or later).
Enabled Lateral Vision Systems for Timelapse (see Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom User Manual for more information about obstacle sensing).
Increased the altitude accuracy of Waypoints in Hyperlapse. When using Task Library to repeat a flight, make sure the takeoff altitude is the same.
Fixed issue: the remote controller’s operating time was shortened when used with some mobile devices.
Fixed issue: could not open Sphere panorama photos in Facebook.
Fixed issue: the Intelligent Flight Battery could not be charged when the environment temperature was between 5° and 10° C.
Notes:
Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
Please note that update may reset various main controller settings, such as the RTH altitude and the maximum flight distance, to default settings. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update.
If the update fails, restart aircraft, remote controller, and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, and retry.
Hi!
I there is no new version of DJI Go 4 app, i have the version 4.3.11 on Samsung s8. When will the new version be released?
I updated the drone and remote and I don't have waypoints
Just successfully updated the f/w of both AC and RC using DJI GO 4.3.12 on iPad Pro (iOS 12.1.1). It went without any issues and took about 15 min in all (222 MB).
Been waiting since M2 came out to see what Waypoints 2.0 would look like. It may be that I'm missing something, but it feels pretty weak.
You will find Waypoints with all the other Intelligent Flight Modes, and it's easy to select a Waypoint and mark a POI. You can also save it to the Task Library and load it for future flights. So far so good.
But I struggle to edit anything, it's so easy to add a new waypoint etc instead of editing it. And if you add 1 of mistake, I have not found how to delete that single one, but have to remove everything and start from scratch (or load a saved task).
So my two questions for anyone that has figured it out; 1) how to edit a POI and 2) how to delete a single object (WP or POI)?
Until I figure these things out I think I will stick to Litchi.
Unfortunately it's raining today in Orlando, so no fly opportunity.
EDIT: Found the answers to my questions in the video in post #11. Still struggle some to hit the POI to edit it, but it may be me having "fat fingers" ;)

Sorry but I don't have an Android, but for iOS, 4.3.12 is available as of yesterday. And if I understand it correct .12 will bring Waypoints.
update is done ( Drone & RC & batteries ) will test it tomorrow, but for Android still no update on the google store so no waypoint only the IOS is get the update.
Update done, waypoints are very easy to set up update takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, this update is also for the batteries so ensure you update all your batteries as well by switching off drone putting in new battery and restarting the go4 app it will ask to slide to update battery. small test and seems fine. will test properly this weekend
Maybe DJI might think about adding a How To Update Video using the Smart Controller?
The reason I mention this is because my Smart Controller sees the firmware update but when I go to download it tells me I am not connected.
This despite it being able to compare revisions with the server in the first instance, being able to go to the DJI homepage and browse the web using the built-in Lightning browser and my Wi-Fi settings telling me I am connected, with an excellent signal strength of 54Mbps on 5GHz!
And yes I do have more than 50% battery in both aircraft & controller.
One of these fixes been a complaint with Mavic Air for entire life of the product and yet mavic 2 gets an update to correct it within no time. Corrected issue where some devices reduces the remotes operating time.
Could DJI legit listen to their customers..?
RIP Mavic Air. I officially regret investing in you....
Yay, an aircraft firmware update that installed without 27 retries to download it!
Still had to use Assistant because GO said "internet disconnected" but I can live with that.
Also noted that a USB connection to the aircraft now provides access to both the internal storage and SD card.
An interesting thing to note... on my Linux laptop, I use a Windows 10 virtual machine to run Assistant (mostly works well, but occasionally has USB issues)...
What I noticed after the 0300 update is that in addition to the USB drives for internal and SD storage, Linux detects a USB network interface when I plug in the drone!
I wonder what neat new feature they are testing but not telling us about yet :-) (or is it just a bug?)

Hi, i do not see last dji go 4 update .12 on Android 9 on pixel 2 phone. Pls clarify availability.
If it helps, I have updated both my android phone and android tablet today. On phone, there is no new waypoints feature. But on the tablet there is. Hopefully the waypoints will trickle down to android phones soon. In the meantime, i will use my android tablet.

Have you already tested the charging thing? I updated my firmware yesterday and didn't notice any change. I simply let the RC on with my phone on it via USB (the bottom port) and it still drained my battery pretty fast. Have to do some actual flight testing though to see if the RC battery survives 3 drone batteries.
