This is a sidecar to my "First Impressions" post.
The light was so-so, it was a short flight above my house, I didn't have a chance to explore more CINE-matic locations, that is TBD.
I really like the ability to switch between 3:4 and 9:16 ratios.
I found 9:16 more suitable for single shots/vertical panos, but 3:4 more apropos for regular panos (like 3x3, or 3x7, etc.). Naturally, pano mode is not here yet, so I did "poor man's " 3x1 panos, which I then stitched in ACR.
Naturally, I shot in Jpeg+RAW mode. With M2P I prefer RAW-only mode, hopefully, this is coming.
Below is a single 9:16 frame, accompanied by a pano made out of 3 3;4 frames.

Explore Mode
I can't say enough how much fun Explore mode is. Yes, quality is subpar, But it's called "Explore Mode" for a reason. Getting that close would require you probably 30..40% of your battery and 10-15 minutes. Instead, you can check the spot you're interested at in mere seconds and then make an informed decision if you want to spend the actual juice to go there for the money shot.
Below is a simple example.
First, a wide-angle shot from the primary camera.
Next, an x7, an optical-only for the upper tele-camera.
And finally, an x28 digital zoom.

Thanks for looking! I hope I'll have some quiet time this weekend to get more appropriate content that would do the M3C justice.
