Dear Kevin hope you get the matter sorted . The guys here Ken Tim and Paladin are good. .BUT the technicians believe every thing the flight records say which is wrong . My Phantom 3 Standard I bought on 20th refused to rth even had the RTH set at 30metres . Dji Holland blame bad area . Not optimal signal . Keep fighting Kevin . DJI make good drone but need to stop telling customer at fault .
My phantom standard cost me 650 dollars in us money . The telling me I have to pay costs yo fix it . I only had it since 20th . I am hurting and depressed . I wanted to enjoy the Drone and I have nothing .
Hi Kevin I hope you get it sorted . I'm still fighting to dispute there claims . DJI need to know not everything is perfect in the Phantom Standard . To be told I flew drone in non optimal area is poor reply as I flew there before . 450 UK pounds may not be much to DJI but it's a lot to me .
Kevin,
I am sorry, they re-evaluated and the flight data recorder shows that one motor spun full throttle and the only way that can happen is if the prop came off.
I am sorry, but the re-evaluation is a final decision.
Firmware updating will not cause a hovering aircraft to flip over while hovering.
Kevin,
You are absolutely free to do whatever you feel necessary to try and get a different resolution.
I assisted you quite a bit last week and even had your aircraft re-evaluated and a different tech came up with the same conclusion.
I am sorry, but as the DJI management also emailed you stating after the 2nd evaluation the case still stands as the prop was not tightened enough.
There is no way that a motor can spin up that fast unless it loses a prop.
I am sorry about your crash, but DJI stands on its decision that it is not a warranty claim.
Please respond to the email if you want the aircraft to be repaired or returned to you.

Kevin,
You are absolutely free to do whatever you feel necessary to try and get a different resolut ...
There is a way a motor can spin up without losing a prop, and it happened to me. Your Techs just didn't want to agree with that. The flight data clearly shows another motor dropped in speed.
I wish I had a video of the flight to prove you all wrong.
The Video has been removed as DJI has sorted out the issues.

While it gives me a little more confidance in DJI's ability to fix problems, I will admit that I will be very hesitant to fly the drone when I get it back.
