I like to say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." If you find something that works for what you are doing, why change it? Be careful about the App updates though. If you accidentally update it, then you will need to update your HW. I'm sticking to a previous version (don't have it out to tell you which one right now) until something goes wrong and I have to upgrade.
DISCLAIMER: If you are under warranty and not using the latest firmware and software, you are voiding your warranty. Always keep it up to date at least until the warranty is up.
