In that article:
'“We are constantly having communications with our government and related departments,” Zhang, whose title is PR Specialist, told reporters at DJI’s headquarters in Shenzhen. “We have made suggestions to regulators and given them our advice, and said that we’re willing to share our data.”
It is not YOUR data, it is OUR data. You should all be aware that the DJI app is sending data to various unidentified sites on a regular basis. The app is a particularly rude one and DJI are making use of your data for their own purposes. None of this has anything to do with actually flying your aircraft, because it is possible to fly without any internet connection at all. I do not permit my iPad Air 2 to connect to the internet at all, as I am not interested in maps or updates, and it has no effect on my flying. But it does mean the the Go App cannot communicate without my knowledge.
I would be interested to know whether Litchi 'shares' data like the DJI app does?
