What about if your DJI mavic 2 pro/zoom is in the mail and you are a DJI Select Member. We should be able to order it using the coupon as well. Will this be supported?

I placed the order 15 minutes after the announcement on release day I’m not sure why you could not see the discount you had to manually select the discount it was not automatically applied to your shopping

I spent some time with DJI today on the phone and Chat and they basically told me that the coupon can only be applied when purchasing the product. It cannot be used after the fact and THAT SUCKS

Should have checked this more closely when I purchased my drone

There's no point to purchase it together since there is nothing shipped for the membership. The membership is all digital coupons, so just purchase it first. Then purchase the Mavic 2 and in the coupon section your 20% off accessories coupons will show up as well as your 50% off select coupon should be available to use. BUT... I want to know when we'll be able to use the 20% off coupons on Mavic 2 batteries. That's a HUGE savings. Drops the price below $100 per battery.

I had to wait MONTHS for my 50% off coupon to work with the Mavic Air... so a week is not so bad I think. Sucks if you bought it right before this announcement, but for those of us that were waiting for this it's a great incentive. I still won't purchase until I can use the 20% off coupons on batteries. $119 is WAY too much cheddar.

I ordered pretty much straight after the conference announced it and it became available the store, The care refresh may have been available but it would have been nice to have known that the select voucher could be used is what I mean, had we have known this at the time I'm pretty sure most of us would have used the voucher and purchase it, but at £109 its pretty steep for something I might never use. I think the issue here is that DJI could have drawn attention to it during the purchase process or just allow us to purchase separately using the voucher (ive now only got 24hrs left since activating to purchase but cant use my voucher even though I purchased select last year, just seems a bit unfair for the early birds to not be made aware

Problem is the waiting time Im pretty sure that once this bank of stock has gone it will be back to the normal long wait lead times or no availability for a while hence us ordering early, the offer should be made available in the interest of fairness, im sure this was just a timing issue between the offer being made public and the items being in the store, would just be nice to be able to purchase retrospectively

I agree with your comments and to be honest it was only luck that I saw the option to add the voucher in the shopping basket and then I also saw I could add the DJI credit to the cart as well

Great now I cant purchase DJI care Refresh at all as even though it hasnt been flown yet its been registered for more than 48 hrs! I was hoping that maybe DJI might have been reading these posts but obviously not!

As usual DJI Customer service lets us all down, surely a company with tis type of tech should be able to get customer service right! Why is there a 48 hr rule to purchase care refresh I could fly quite a bit in 48hrs and potentially crash in that time also (especially for new pilots) then they can still get care refresh where as I have 0 flight hours but am outside the 48 hrs limit and I cant purchase!

And as for select im not really sure what the point of it is unless you happen to buy alot of accessories bear in mind the 20% discount is after you have already paid £29.00 (UK) for membership, (the combo pack for the M2P or M2Z is fixed price and 20% vouchers can not be used!

So I feel like I have been mis sold the select pack as I no cant use the one voucher that is of really any use!

Nice to see DJI helping out loyal customers again! Ill let all the other forums know what to expect (I'm sue they already have post of the same)

I was going to maybe do a  you tube review of all the mavics over time but I think maybe Ill do a review of how poor DJI customer service is outside of just making a purchase so that others who have not had dealing already will know what to expect!

I agree!  Looks like I lost out as well.  I didn't think to look for a 50% off coupon in my account.  Should have prompted you or automatically applied.  Maybe next time. Also, you cannot use it on CareRefresh+ now either.  That would have been a good consolation use of the coupon.

Seems quite unfair really and make me think I may actually return the drone for a full refund seeing as I havent used it yet, was going to fly today but decided against it just in case something did happen and I'm not covered!.

Customer service is not high on their agenda, Great products yes but there is only so much consumers will put up with and then when a competitor does come along with the ext big thing that catches them out then this will be the thing that turns the tide.

Maybe I will just put a hold on the credit card payment until such a time they have to chase me for the payment and as it is unused I am happy to return it!

Just really do not understand why this option want offered in the store at check out seeing as I am a select customer with a voucher and am logged in using my account credentials! I get it if I bought it from another online retailer but I didnt I bought direct from the source, I even have DJI credit that I have been waiting to use as well.

Nice o see that DJI support are staying quiet on this and not getting involved! not really much point in them as they seem to only help on certain things and even then they are powerless.

Maybe we should drop a line to Casey Neistat and see what he thinks, I'm sure he will be on our side! or at least maybe help out the little guys!

COME ON DJI SORT IT OUT HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO ASK FOR THE SIMPLE THINGS THERE WE PUT UP WITH THE DODGY FIRMWARE AND SOFTWARE UPGRADES WE PUT UP WITH THE POOR SHIPPING AND YET WE ARE STILL LOYAL THE SIMPLEST OF THINGS ARE THE EASIEST TO SOLVE, ITS ONLY A WEEK SINCE LAUNCH AND MOST HAVE ONLY HAD THEIR DRONE FOR A FEW DAYS HOW HARD CAN IT BE! Feel free to PM me

Also why is there no stock of the ND filters? and you have no ETA!

Will the mavic 2 pro fit in the fly more bag from the original mavic pro?

It would just about Ive tried it but its not perfect, its a touch longer not much but enough and a touch taller, in the hand it feels more put together and slightly less plastic, the batters are alot bigger and i used to use the outer side pockets for the batt on the MPP but on the M2P the batts are on the inside of the bag underneath the controller.

It will fit the old bag but its tight and the zip doesnt close unless your do some manipulating but its fine if you just use the velcro on the flap, the controller is a bit more slimline as it doesnt have the stick on you put these on after

Hope this helps

This really is petty of them. I placed my $1800 order on the 26th. They made this offer on the 29th.

I wrote this to support on the 30th, before my Mavic even arrived:

Hello. I have a quick question. I see on your website that if I was a Select member, I could have gotten 50% off my Care Refresh package. I'm hoping you will allow me to "purchase" Select. That would mean:

$29 more I owe you for Select
$49 you owe me for difference in Care price
-------------------------
$20 credit you can give me towards future purchase.

Please let me know if this is agreeable. I believe it's the fair thing to do.

Thank you,

Today, Sept 1 they wrote back and said "too bad"!

How much effort would it be to just make the adjustment?

Shame on you DJI.

Nice that sounds really encouraging then! so any of the early adopters are being penalised for ordering early (when the main reason we ordered early was because from past experience there is always a shortage of stock!. The voucher is only available to select customers who pay an additional £29per year but the reality is the select program is a bit of a scam! from what I here there are people who have ordered their drones under the 'Select customers get priority shipping' but still have yet to get them and others who are not select customers already have theirs, mine did ship pretty quickly (but this shouldnt be something to be proud of Amazon Prime does this everyday!)

Basically DJI have very poor customer service and cant admit when they are at fault and adjust accordingly, I mean how many of us has this affected and what are they really losing out on! they can obviously afford to offer the discount and still offer the service so it seems like very poor timing on there part and shows very little flexibility on their part to help a few customers that are already select members to make use of a voucher they have technically paid to get!

Maybe we should all return our drones under the 14 day return policy (30 days if select customers) and then re-order after we get the refunds! Or maybe just not re-order for another couple of month to screw with their sales figures! However I suspect that there are not many of us to make much of dent which is why its really off they cant just let us use a voucher (they could just issue all of us who were not aware of the discount on release day with a new voucher to track it if they must! but now all of us I suspect will already be outside of the 48 hrs registration period and therefore are now not able to purchase the service anyway as I am, It seems nuts they would rather turn the sales of the half price service away in return for no sale at all and lets face it only a small percentage of us will ever use it so its money for old rope really and a bit of a con at the full price when you consider the value of the drone and the cost of the insurance when compared to the cost of car insurance and the value of the car you insure! Most of us are not in the habit of crashing our drone anyway (dont think Ive ever crashed or hard landed one of mine anyway) so maybe its not that bigger deal! my point is that DJI themselves should be far more helpful and admit when they screwed up! but like they say a Leopard cant change its spots! (this is no difference to the Mavic Air Camera down function for the programmable buttons many of us have requested this simple feature but DJI just dont listen and all we get is it has been passed on to the engineers (meaning in reality Ive filed this under junk and they can get what they are given all said laughing like doctor evil)

We probably shouldn't even bother wasting our breath on this and they will clearly not do anything about it! They cant be bothered to make a comment on this post either!

nope none are available yet and they cant seem to give an eta either! To be fair probably can do this is post but only when you get back to a computer so the filters are still a good idea if only to protect the lens!

I think the combo kits is probably better value than just getting to batteries as you get a car charger multi batt charger (up to 4) and the bag for only a little bit more and some spare blades (if you ever need them!) the batts will work out at about £61 cheaper or the dollar equivalent so I went for the combo just because it has it all for a few quid more the multi charger is great as you put all the batteries on either in the car, hotel room or at home and it charges them one after another but charging the one that has the most charge in it first so you can back up flying sooner so its worth it for me

Hope this helps, id go for the combo

Coming from the Mavic Air, the extra battery time on this (Averaging 25 min per flight) two batteries is all I'll need. So I bypassed the flymore and just purchased an extra battery.
