That would depend on you pocket,   in my skinny jeans no chance.

I usually carry it in my back pocket. But I'm still a bit afraid the joystick will break because it sticks out of the case and I already had that broken on me before.

With the P3 the joystick points into the case so only the rear of the P3 is exposed.

That sounds clever.
The p2 case can house 2 of the clip on accessoires, but they are known to fall out easily.

With this clip on (the one I use the most) : yes.
They went for a modular design with various clip on additions, but that probably ment they had to leave room for larger attachments, hence the open space in the case.

I'm not 100% sure, but I feel this one does not have magnets, but 8 small connectors that 'tell' the device something is attached.
