I did report it to customer service. I gave them the S/N as well as the gps coordinates and time of the last flight. They told me the couldn’t locate it or disable it.
I strongly doubt that. If they can use their tracking and recording to verify equipment failures for warranty service, they can definitely locate your machine if it ever calls home again. If they ever do, I wouldn't worry about getting my bird back; I'd just locate it and shoot it down the next time the perp tries to fly it. An expensive solution, but very satisfying, and probably cheaper in the long run than going through the Court system. |
