Fixed the issue where the aircraft behaved abnormally when it misidentified a subject in ActiveTrack.
Fixed the issue during RTH where the aircraft continued to fly backward when it sensed obstacles both in front and behind.
Fixed the issue where the time displayed on photos was incorrect.
Fixed the issue where the aircraft flight distance was still restricted despite the Distance Limit being disabled in DJI GO 4.
Fixed the issue where the abnormal current warning appeared too frequently in some situations.
Fixed the issue where the aircraft could not land due to issues with the remote controller control sticks.
Remote Controller:
Added the ability to adjust the camera parameters. Press and hold the customizable button and toggle the gimbal dial to adjust (requires aircraft firmware v01.00.0500 or later).
Notes:
Make sure you update the DJI GO 4 app to the latest 4.3.0 version or higher before updating the firmware.
Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
Please note that the firmware update may reset various Main Controller Settings, such as the RTH Altitude and Maximum Flight Distance, to factory defaults. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update to suit your preference.
This firmware update resets the camera settings.
If the firmware upgrade fails, restart aircraft, remote controller and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2, and retry.

yep, installed without much of an issue.. only issue i ran into was initially only update appeared was RC update...then both came in after a reboot.
That is great news.
.0500 FW for Mavic Air can be downloaded and installed. Even if it requires a reboot.

FYI to anyone updating. I had to recalibrate my controller as there was an issue with the aircraft. When I tried to fly backwards in controller mode 2, the aircraft instead descended. This was intermittent but regular. It also became obvious when calibrating as a pull down on the right stick made both sticks indicate down. Recalibration solved the problem and all is well now.
Everything else seems perfect judging by my short test. It's a little windy here today to try properly. Certainly more stable whilst hovering though.
Updated the Firmware 0500 using my laptop DJI Assistant 2 without issue. Then update the RC to 0200 on my Mate 10 Pro without problem. Flew 2 batteries using Go4 and 1 battery on Litchi ...great. The Go4 App reset my Height limit and RTH Height too so beware.
Update here as well, only had to update my RC via the App ; dji assistent did not 'saw' the RC (MA yes)
Had a flight with my MA and Spark ; no errors! Only with the second MA battery a uncontrolled YAW move to the left just after take-off (the old "problem")

OK, this is bothersome, as the yaw glitch was one of the main issues widely reported by pilots here, so if DJI spent all these months to release a FW update they didn’t bother to correct some of the most reported issues, that really upsets me...

Yep, in the log the compass heading reading is quickly plus 7 degrees, so the drone corrects this by turning to the left. Did notice this in the .400 fw, only after take-off that is. so it does look the same. i will add some data and recording tomorrow.cheers

There's been no breaks in the rain here so I still can't do a test flight with 0500, but question...
After installing 0500, did you perform a compass recalibration and/or factory reset?
Flew 1 battery yesterday. Today I rechecked all parameters, recalibrated the sticks and flew another battery. I didnt get the yaw issue (yet) but on both occasions I noticed the AC sometimes drifting to the right. I dont know if it was due to the wind but I remember it used to fly straighter on previous FW.

Figure this will make little change to the issues I have been receiving on nearly every flight so may as well give it a go and see what happens....
Will do it by DJI Assitant, where can I download this from, can not seem to find it on the DJI site?? EDIT - found it

Tried to connect the RC to dji assistant but the USB doesnt work but it worked for the mavic air, any help in this is appreicated.
