Sorry guys but 4K is too much of the norm now for them to introduce a 1080p camera that shoots in ProRes. 4K is here to stay, no sense in going backwards to lower resolutions. The Inspire can surprisingly carry quite a bit of payload. Enough to carry cameras like the Samsung NX500 even which shoots in UHD 4K with a bigger sensor and has an image similar to the GH4. It has been rumored that a Dutch Company is working on a gimbal specifically for this camera set up. They are nearing the completion of their beta testing from what they told me in back and forth e-mails and are working hard to be able to use Lightbridge via the new camera system. If this happens, I will be one happy camper!

i am in contact with them as well. i am ready to place an order any time. 28 megapixel sensor is great for photography too! fingers crossed.

Just bought my P3 to complement my Inspire... I feel DJi has abandoned Inspire 1 owners for now....i think their first priority at this point is to grab the BIGGEST market share (They have 48% market share vs. 8% 3DR) . They are being sidetracked by focusing on getting most units out the door.. The fact that SDK is available they are leaning towards 3rd party improvements and do not see that as a PROFITABLE area to be in.I agree with Jim P3 actually will help Inspire 1 platform in keeping numbers on our side

This isn't what I was hoping for...This is just a panorama head. I was told they are working on a full gimbal system.

Is really anybody willing to pay about 720 euro + shipping for a panoramic mount and a remote control. It is really insane. IMO
