Having an issue with balancing the roll axis.
All other axes are balanced perfectly. I then balance the roll axis so it's level, however when I lean the camera to either side, it drifts back to center (with gimbal off).

I'm using a GH5s and Pana 12-35mm without any accessories.

I'm aware that it's bottom heavy, however I cannot raise the vertical tilt axis because then the tilt is not balanced.

Any suggestions?

After balancing the roll shaft, lift the pitch motor to fix it. Since there is a gap, it will be tilted and fixed by its own weight. This also happens with RONIN-S but not with RS2.Here#

If I lift the pitch motor than then pitch axis is not balanced.

No, it doesn't move the pitch axis.
Hold near the pitch motor and lift it to fix the roll shaft.
This is because there is a gap in the roll shaft clamp.

man....2021 and this issue still exists?

Ronin SC2
Canon R5
RF 35mm prime lens
with or without smallrig cage
No point putting the Ninja V on yet (not that it would mount to any moving parts anyway)

https://youtu.be/w8zhV1hsDho my video guess you'll have to copy/paste the link if it doesn't show as a link.

I've watched so many YouTube videos and tightening and untightened and tightened and untightened and held the arm flash and tightened and untightened, there's no skin left on my fingers.

ZERO problems with my Weebill S....not the upgrade I was hoping for.
