Hi,

I have a P4M (less than week old) and it will no longer fly with the error - 'unable to take off 8012'.

I was flying this over the weekend, no problems.  It now no longer flies.  I have  tried multiple locations (100+ miles apart) I am not in a no fly zone. I have the latest firmware and nothing had changed from that perspetive.

I have tried refreshing and that has not fixed it.

In short - it did fly, now it doesn't and I get the same error.  I can connect to the drone, just not fly it.

Any suggestions?

Hi -  thanks for this, good idea. But yes, its fine - I have fresh batteries (and 6 different ones to swap out and choose from)

I am also getting a new/similar error saying that I can't fly due to height restrictions. Its as though it thinks its in a no-fly zone (but its not)

First of all I would try a clean reinstallation of the Dji application , if problem persist maybe is "No fly Zone " Issue

Thanks - what you mean "may is no fly zone" issue?

Its been tried in differnet locations, al of them in no fly zones and its flown here just days earlier. Is there a know issue/bug that we need  to address?

Currently I am updating the drone, the RC and the app.

What's your launch location?  Maybe you can post an image of a map showing your location and someone could help you diagnose why you're getting this error.  

Also, be sure your battery data connections are clean.  A Q tip and some isopropyl alcohol will do the trick.

Try going backwards on your updates after the last update I lost live feed and had some issues with the unable to take off 8012 went backwards on my updates that fixed my issues best of luck

This would obviously be a really nice feature to have.
