I typically use YouTube's built-in subtitle feature when I add subtitles to my YouTube videos. It's pretty straightforward: once you upload your video, head to the 'Subtitles' tab in YouTube Studio and you can either manually type them in or upload an SRT file. I sometimes use free software like Subtitle Edit to create the SRT file if I'm doing it outside of YouTube. The interface is user-friendly and you can sync the subtitles to the video easily.

As I began getting more content to manage, I turned to a service to help with subtitling to optimize my workflow. One of the best subtitling agencies I've used so far delivered me the subtitles on time and with no mistakes. On their site, there's more info about their process.
