I have an idea that might work, however I do NOT have the broken firmware so I can't test.
Download the firmware file from here
Then download the dronehacks client from here you will NOT need a paid account.
Then connect your drone, open the dh client exe, go to the tab called "Flash Original DJI-Firmware", click choose firmware, select the bin file downloaded earlier from Google Drive, and click flash firmware.

As I mentioned, I don't know if this work, this is just an idea. If you test this, please give feedback!

I tried to update the Firmware in Mavic Air 2, but it failed.
The firm was not making any progress after 63%, I waited and waited and waited.. no progress,

Need assistance to fix the issue?
After the restart of the drone - I am getting - Take off failed, restart aircraft and DJI fly (code: 30226)


After reinstalling my Dji fly app - I am seeing different errors: ESC connection error, Repair required, Contact DJI support for assistance ( Code: 300085 )

Can you please guide me step by step to fix the issue? really appreciate your help

Any idea how to restore to my factory setting, I don't see any version on the DJI assistant 2 for Mavic Air 2.


Here is my suggestion to the team :
Can we add a feature in DJI assistant 2 for Mavic Air 2 for downgrade, or reset the factory setting? this will really help.

I had the same issue exactly, I reach the DJI support team, and I was asked to send the Drone and controller to the service center to check the issue.

I do try to downgrade no luck with the DJI 2 assistance tool

I to tried to reset the factory setting. no luck too..   

I am out of option.. now.. need to send the drone & contorller to service center to fix this.

is it ok to send it or is there any way to fix this problem. ????

Sorry to bother... but it's quite visible that, worldwide, there's a huge problem about that last firmware actualization for the Mavic Air 2...
More than a week has passed and it seems it has not been solved yet...

Come on, admit you made a mistake and fix it, don't try to make it seem like it's your customers who made the mistake.
Release a new firmware that fixes this, and let us update. It's not that hard!

Specialists said to give the drone back for further checking, but i rather wait a couple days if the solution is possible!

Yes i, unfortunately, know that there isn't a solution yet.
Contacted support through phone a couple of times but nobody seems to know what is causing the problem.
I was just wondering if takes less time to ship the drone back or wait for a firmware fix?

I just want to help. We all knew there was a problem. I was also hesitant to install the new firmware. And many people are still hesitant. It's strange why for some the update is successful and for others not. Everyone assesses their own risk. I hope DJI fix the problem soon.
The problem appears to be related to the firmware on the drone ( Current V 01.00.250)  prior to the update being performed  to the new firmware  V 01.01.1200. There seems to be incompatibility issues between the two firmware versions.

There appears to be only two possible solutions here:
1. DJI releases a firmware update that will be compatible with a firmware update from V 01.00.250.
Or
2. DJI enables functionality on the DJI assistant to reset to factory.

These are the options if you are not intending on hacking your drone, or changing rollback in your firmware.

My old software v01.01.0920

We've also tried everything, even as GAMORA says!

IOS with Apple cell phone and Apple tablet...

Android with Samsung phone and LG tablet ...

Three PCs with Assistant 2 Version 15...

Waiting time for several batteries until termination...

You can forget it, nothing works anymore....

You can also forget to look for a specific firmware version, or whether it is due to a specific hardware, we have been checking everything for over 10 days.
You should also check out the other posts. No need to reinvent the wheel here, we've been desperate since launch from Firmware.
And with DJI there is absolutely no reaction.
So when my MA2 works again I'll sell everything from DJI and go to Autel. Sorry

Such nonsense, they are completely unbelievable.

Don't forget to update the firmware for all of your batteries, otherwise you will have incompatability issues.
