So instead of fixing the bug they just skip to the next version?  Or maybe it is just easier to do new version than flush out all the bugs?

It depends how you number your releases.    Some times people do Major feature. Minor Feature. Fix others may have x.y.z build xxxx - but realistically there are probably hundreds of ways you can do it -

This crazy we haven't able to fly our drone for over a month. Are there any attorneys in this group? We need to file a class action suit against dji.

Interesting indeed.  Now if only DJI will put it on their download site.  Will still need Mini 3 Pro FW v01.00.0300.

Perhaps that’s the delay, FW V01.000.0300 not quite ready yet!

Could well be.  

Going to download Fly App from that site and install it on a standalone tablet I only use while flying the Air 2 and see if it loads and runs okay.

Why are you not flying ? Everything works fine, this thread is all about (I think) getting the m3p supported by RC Pro

DJI Fly App v.1.6.12 downloads and installs without issue on the DJI RC Pro controller.  Have a Dentist appointment soon so could only give it a quick test flight on my Air 2S but it worked well.

Now it would be nice to get the Mini 3 pro FW update so I can use RC Pro with that drone.

Got it loaded on RC Pro and flew a quick flight with my Air 2S.  Didn't see any issues but as I said it was a short flight.  So now, I just hope that DJI comes through with the Mini 3 pro FW update as originally stated by their Tech Support.  Headed to Dentist but will test more thoroughly later today.

Same here.    RC Pro also prompted me to update FW to V03.01.0800 (weird as that didn't show earlier today).  Now only things is if you try to connect to Mini 3 with RC Pro it shows incompatible firmware version so we have to continue to wait for Mini 3 FW of 01.00.0300 to be released.

Am I right that when the mini 3 pro also gets its firmware update it will be possible to connect any goggles with an hdmi input to the RC Pro controller for fpv
eg DJI goggles V1 (not the older vr white ones) or Fatshark

I can't help you with an answer for that as I don't own any DJI Goggles and haven't read anything on that type of compatibility yet.  Maybe somebody more knowledge will chime in.  

There is no firmware Update for my RC Pro yet.

If you look through the thread above you'll see a link to v1.6.12.  Once installed on the RC Pro you will see Mini 3 available but if you try and connect it will tell you Mini 3 Pro firmware is incompatible.  So we are now waiting on Mini 3 firmware update to v01.00.0300.

Could well be the case.  

It’s all gone very quiet regarding compatibility between the M3P and the RC Pro! I thought that we may have been almost there a couple of weeks ago but it would appear not! Even if I chose to purchase the RC to compliment my M3P as I really struggle with the standard controller with an iPhone, I cannot find anyone selling the RC where I live in Spain (all on preorder). This is very frustrating!

New firmware this morning for RC Pro and Mini 3 Pro so they are now compatible.  I've updated but can't test at this moment as it is pouring down rain.  

Did the Updates.  Flew one pack, everything worked great.  Did not test the range as much as it was really windy, but otherwise it was all good.  So happy that this is finally solved.
