Hello had drone for months not but really am struggling to get a free app on laptop to download and edit video with music to youtube ...any help help have tried lots of apps but most last a month then got pay..simon

Davinci Resolve is the best video editor available and they have a free version, not just a 30 day trial.  Lots of tutorials to learn Davinci Resolve on YouTube.  

You could also look at VideoPad or Shotcut - both free.

A third recommendation for Davinci Resolve from Black Magic design. I've used it for years (free version). A powerful tool, a bit of a steep learning curve but there's lot's of online tutorials.

I also recommend Davinci Resolve, used it for almost 5 years now.

The free version have like no limits for the ordinary user, no watermark, no time limit.
