I have been flying the Phantom 4 RTK in RTK mode for about 6 months and found that it is great machine for aerial mapping.

Lately I have been trying to use it in PPK mode so that I can map sites where RTK is impractical.  However there are often incorrect dates recorded in the rinex observation file which can make PPK processing impossible.  During a flight today the last oservation was logged as "1970     1     1     0     0    0.0000000     GPS         TIME OF LAST OBS".

I have been previously told by a PPK software vendor that this is a known problem and the only current solution is to open the rinex file and correct the wrong dates manually.  Obviously this is not a long term or 21st century solution.

Is there a method to prevent incorrect dates from being logged in these files, or will a future firmware update fix this problem?
