took this today actually..

Nothing Spectacular,, just something I took on the 25th inbetween rain breaks..
Just able to "produce" it today..

Nicely done Johnny.    Good that you were able to squeeze in a flight, especially with those ominous looking clouds.

The sky in the first one looked quite ominous, but that didn't stop you from getting a nice approach shot of that lake. Also, I liked the zoom-in/zoom-out effect at the beginning and at the end of the second video. Simple but effective.

yes I was actually only running an ND 32 and still struggling with EV.
Only prob i noticed with NDs on a fixed aperture is the focus..
All im saying..
The zoom in and zoom out were actually split in 2 pcs and the first pc sped
up 1.6x and the 2nd 2.1 to make the equal time line..
The glitch you saw from out to in was all me in manual focus lmao.
Actually hit it pretty close but not perfect ..
All good ..

No doubt those were some amazing cloud patterns.  

Weather guessers are calling for a super hot day today with tons of humidity.  My plan is to go to the outdoor shooting range and sight in a new scope I just bought.  I was at the indoor range the other day for some pistol practice but no rifles are allowed at that indoor range.

Having fun doing it is one of the most important aspects in this. The viewers can see it in the resulting videos when you're enjoying filming them

I just got a Primary Arms SLx 1-6x ACSS long range scope to add to my AR-15 and the one I was re-sighting was a Sig Sauer Romeo 5.

pistol regulations here are horrible and somebody (aint saying no names) is trying to get certain
rifles banned here which pretty much means all of them.. Leaves us with bb guns for flip sakes..
All good.. I'll stick to my TD-340 ;)

Gun regulations are always the targets of politicians and anti-gun folks.  Just the way it is.  If they want my guns they'll have to come pry them out of my cold dead fingers.

well there are many here with the same attitude yes and some have some
pretty large arsenals.
Hunting is very big here and pretty near everyone I know is a collector.
I guess we'll see what goes down in the near future.
I'm not worried. Unless they start coming after cross bows

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Texas and I learned to shoot to keep wolves away from the cattle.  Later I migrated into hunting bigger game such as deer, elk and bears (not in Texas though )  I no longer do a lot of game hunting but I do like to keep my marksmanship skills up to date.

Growing up on the farm was a bit tough but sure taught us some good working habits.  The only time though that you'd see your friends would be at school since the farm was 12 miles outside of town.  Still, I'm glad I grew up on the farm and have no regrets.
