I bought a lightly used Ronin SC Gimbal, it powers  on and beeps and you can change modes (3 green leds) but the joystick  and front button do nothing and the gimbal arms don't move at all, they  don't even do that jump into default position thing gimbals normally do  on power on.

All the axis's are  unlocked and I've done the password reset by pressing the Mode button 6  times but here's the weird one, the Dji app picks up the gimbal  immediately when I scan but when the little window pops up for the  password input to connect to the gimbal the app goes nuts - as the  window/keyboard for the password input pops up it immediately closes and  then reopens/closes/reopens endlessly until the gimbal is switched off.  That's on an iPhone with the "DJI Ronin" app.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or what I can try to troubleshoot it?
