Hello,
I am looking to run the BS30 intellegent battery station off an inverter from a pickup truck. I am having difficulty locating the wattage that the battery station needs to run. Would a 2000w running /4000 peak watt inverter be able to charge all 4 of my M30T battery pairs (8 total) without issues?

Keep in mind that an inverter never provides "clean" alternating current. This is a solution that can work but that brings a lot of problems with these "smart" stations.

The best solution is the portable gasoline or diesel generator. I have a 2kW mounted on the back of the pickup on silentblock. Perfect in all conditions.

Good news. I'm assuming dual fuel will work as well? Just looked up a random 2000w one on Amazon and it stated this: "1700 running watts and up to 11.5 hours run time on gasoline, and 1530 running watts and up to 34 hours on propane."

The Battery Station uses 100-240V at up to 8.0 Amps. That's 800 watts. Quite a load for a truck battery - but doable with the engine running.

Make sure you have pure sine wave not square wav output. It's not just about wattage/amps. You want something that duplicates A/C mains current.

Update, while generators do work well, I purchased this inverter and had no issues running the battery station, realistically if the battery station is all you need , a 2000 w is more than enough
