Hi there. Thank you for your inquiry. The DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Spark are not listed as RID-compliant drones therefore, you need to purchase an FAA-approved Remote ID module after September 16, 2023, or only fly in the FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA). You may visit the FAA website for the FAA-approved Remote ID modules at https://uasdoc.faa.gov/listDocs. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I am aware that they are not on the compliance list. Will DJI release an update to make them Remote ID capable without a module?

You are most welcome. The list of drones on this link https://forum.dji.com/thread-293343-1-1.html are the only drones that support the RID-compliant firmware. Other drones that are not listed are not supported and need an RID module to work. For drones that are not listed, we don't have any information if they will be supported in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
