The Circus is in town....Again.....


Only seems like last week their weas a circus in town,  this one though was slightly larger although they use the same layout around the tent.

I like the red and white tent.  The topdown is great.

With remoteID here in the US and using Air Sentinel App you can find the location of the RC. fairly easily.  Not a good thing for privacy or for safety of the pilot.

Aren't the small drones <250g exempt from RID for non commercial use?

Another gloomy morning here.  I spent yesterday evening renewing my French drone licence on the Alpha-Tango portal. It was due to run out in November.

Mines due Nov 4 but it wouldn't let me do it last week when I tried although FPVUK seemed to think they could do it on my behalf for an additional fee.

CAA just allowed me to pay them to renew too,   So 10 days appears to be acceptable renew time with them.   Last week there was no option to do it.

Correct, but probably not for much longer as there is a move afoot to change it to all drones, regardless of weight.  This change is being sought by the large corporations that offer drone delivery.  

Great shots.  I've never been to the circus.

Those drone delivery services seem to have an unfair weight in the lobbying.

They have the best funded lobbying groups pushing their agenda.  

Interesting pattern on that big-top, some change to the usual spirals and regular striped patterns. Nice shots overall
