Hi, it's just my curiosity, but I often see a lot of shots over cities in reviews (M3P, M4P), both day and night.
I don't know exactly the TRUST/FAA rules, but what about the legality of flying over densely populated areas in the US?

It's pretty strict in the EU and the next EASA rules start in January, so I'm interested. Are special tests or permits required? And does it only apply to drones under <250g? I'm not planning a trip to the US anytime soon, but I'm curious.

Thank you, my level of English is probably insufficient to study US laws (sometimes it is difficult to understand even EASA translations in my native language ;] ..), but what I understood from the above link and the following, for recreational use of a C0 drone in the US it is allowed to fly with TRUST and up to 400 feet almost anywhere, except Airspace Restricted Areas.
So flight over urban areas is allowed, and it's even allowed to operate over private property, right?
