Thanks DT.   I was super impressed with the microphones,  also the footage from the P3 was at 2x zoom and still looked passable.

You're most welcome DA.  The built in mics are in much better locations than the P2 and they do seem to be more sensitive and work so much better.  Yes, nothing wrong with that 2X footage.  

Beautiful footage! The footage between the Mini 3 Pro and the Osmo Pocket 3 seem to fit seamlessly together! Great job!

I was pleasantly surprised by it.   Ive just ordered the wide angle lens to play with,  not sure how much use it will get,  what I really want is a telephoto and maybe a macro.

Hopefully someone will,  I also keep checking aliexpress as cheap versions of those sorts of things turn up there quite early too,  albeit with questionable quality.

The good thing about Ali is most stuff is really cheap so if the quality turns out bad you really haven't lost a lot.

For the UK they have also really improved their shipping recently,   Many of the items are offered delivered in 5 or 8 days or you get a discount voucher,   so far they have all been on time.

Wow, that is really fast shipping.  We are not so lucky as shipping normally takes 30 days,  Because of the country of origin they seem to always get stuck for weeks in customs for inspection.

Low value items here tend not to get delayed,    it's the expensive stuff where they can charge you import duties that have the delays.

Seems here the value doesn't matter as everything gets held up that originates in China.  

I see where the politicians are going after Autel now.

Ive missed that re Autel,    but then Ive not seen any serious competition from them for a while.

Seems they too are abandoning the consumer drone market and moving toward the commercial market only.

Perhaps they can grow their business with the commercial space where they have very little competition and then go back to the consumer marker.

Would be nice if that happened.  Since Skydio went commercial they are increasing their bottom line six fold.

I suspect that once they have the government contracts nicely locked up they will have capacity to go back to the consumer market,  especially if they try more ways to ban DJI over there.

It sure would.  I think the US Government gave them a boost by prohibiting DJI drones from being procured by federal agencies or using federal funds.  Many states follow suit so orders reached astronomical levels for Skydio drones to take the place of the banned DJI drones.  Some states grandfathered in the DJI drones for 18 or 24 months.  But yeah, Skydio made out when that happened.

I have had some great conversations and awkward situations while catching trains.
