DJI Mic 2 Finally launched....

Its just a shame they dont do a bundle with just one Mic for the pocker 3 combo owners.

there is option to buy just one Mic 2 or Mic 2 with reciever.. on the official DJI store.. so it is not true what you are saying

I think they would like the kit, but with one transmitter.

But that doesnt include the case it only comes with a carry pouch.

Is it the same mic as the one included with the P3 creator combo?

Yes same mic but now you can have other colours, and a charging case.

Ok, I'm considering my options. Mic 2 separate (with one mic and the receiver) or the creator combo.
Both have pros and cons, so I'll have to do the math.

The Pocket 3 doesnt need a receiver for the Mic 2,  it's already built in.

I know, but if I want to use the Mic 2 on another camera, I would need one.

Yes the Mic has internal storage and thats the only place you can record float32 audio.

That is true, but I don't mind. These projects have separate audio anyway, because I'll be doing music videos mostly with the mic.
So I have to sync audio and video in post anyway.

What I usually do is bang on one of the pads of the drum computer. That is picked up by the camera mic and also visible on the audio file from the instruments. So I can align the various files with that.

Yes but for some DSlrs and mirrorless cameras you can connect the receiver to them
