So I had my DJI Mic 2 connected to the Pocket, installed the new firmware on my Action 4, powered off the Pocket and connected the MIc 2 to the Action, all good.

When I power the Mic 2 and Pocket back on I have to manually connect the Mic 2 again?

Shouldn’t it have it saved as an authorised connection and just connect?
