Just received my OM6 and I'm facing an issue I can't manage to fix. I did some research and it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

When in Tilt Lock mode, if I tilt the gimbal about 45 degree, my phone will not stay in place and tilt a little bit.

Even when holding the trigger to be in lock mode, my phone still tilts when doing the same movement.

I recorded a short video to illustrate the issue.



You can see me entering Tilt Lock mode at he beginning then tilting the gimbal about 45 degrees and my phone not staying in place.

Then I do the same thing again while holding the trigger this time.

My phone weight is a Xiaomi 13 Pro and weights 210g. I read that the OM6 is marketed to work with device between 170g and 290g so it doesn't look like a weight capacity issue.

Is my OM6 defective ?

No, it's not defective.  The OM6 simply has a very limited tilt range.  See my video about this and how to work around it:

Hi there. Additionally, the controllable tilt range of the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 is -25° to 40°.
