Thats probably to fix the issue the Avata 1 had with falling out of the sky on tight turns in manual mode.

I bought a cinewhoop about 18 months ago and found out that everytime I tried flying it I got a bit of vertigo or dizziness.  I even tried flying it while sitting down but got the same ill effects.  So I sold it and now just have to enjoy watching FPV videos.  It's a bit strange as I can watch the videos without getting vertigo or dizziness.  

Anyway, I'm excited for those of you who can fly them and getting the Avata 2.

Yeah, I watched Shawn's video about 9 months ago.  No doubt it is possible but just not the same as with goggles.  I'm resigned to just watching the FPV videos and have no regrets of giving the real thing a try.

You bring up a great question.  A gent I met at the pistol range is planning to buy the Avata 2.  I might approach him and see if he is willing to let me give it a try and see if that makes it any better.  Who knows, maybe my brains are just scrambled. I did fall off a horse and land on my head when I was about 10 years old.

That is nice.
I have to say it looks a bit more toy like.
But I like the overall specs indeed.
And I heard the 150m rule is relieved. Just the spotter now .

Having now opened mine,  the build quality seems OK,   better than the Mini 3 for sure,  but probably not as good as the Air3.

I’m on my second. The legs got sloppy after about 5000km and the replacement isn’t much better after nearly the same.

I think they had to cut too much of the material to keep the weight < 250gr

Long life isn’t visible or an advantage to them.  But legs and a landing light are.

Someone people are having problems with 48MP, but I'm not. I have an iPhone 15 Pro and DJI Mini 4 Pro and they both shoot in 48MP and there's nothing wrong with the photos.

Nothing wrong except for the massive file size for normally very little difference in quality.  The 48 mp photos sometimes offer more clarity but the tradeoff is increased noise & coloration in some areas.
