I saw that. But for me it doesn’t matter that much because I mostly fly in S mode, I’m not used to M mode as much.

An excellent new product fucked by a stupid regulation.

I can't understand why if we have three speed modes, one of them can't overpass the 19m/s restriction...

It can when you fly outside of the EU region,  but to meet the local laws it has to be restricted.

I know that outside the EU you haven't that restriction, but the matter here is why the EU regulations are so stupid. At that point, in my personal opinion I would have prefered a C3 labeling and let the C1 for a future sub250g model

Indeed.  C1 is only going to cause confusion as it's still limited to A3 airspace due to the FPV goggle rules in EU.

I agree. Those EU laws are too strict. You spend so much money on a drone just to find that you can't fly it anywhere without going faster than 19m/s.

Yes.  It's quite a nice size, and from what Ive seen the change allows the noise to be much better.

Yes indeed. Although I'm not getting the Avata 2 I was excited to see what the easy acro mode could do and Matthew demo'd it superbly.  I need to buy him some beer or coffee to show my appreciation for his channel.

I think with the original avata I would have met many Karens flying it here as the sound was very loud and a bad pitch and as empty space here is a premium you're bound to run into them.

Great review , answered all my questions . I am waiting for my order of new Avata 2 to ship right now !  Excited to fly it !

Really disappointed with the lack of backwards compatibility. I want to buy the new gear, but don’t want keep having to store more goggles and controllers.

Problem is they've changed how the radio works,  so now the controllers are just bluetooth to the goggles and the goggles have the radio inside it.  It's helped them bring the price down which is nice.
