Le Conte Glacier is a famous local destination for its natural splendor and awe inspiring views of the glacier.  It starts calving in Spring and by summer you can take a boat tour all the way to the glacier itself.  Two friends and I decided to go have a look in her 15 foot skiff.  It was about 2 hours from Petersburg. We bundled up and motored as far as we could get into the bay before a sea of ice blocked our progress.  We put our drones up and got some great views.

Absolutely amazing footage.    You're much braver than me to head out in those conditions in a 15 foot skiff.

Yeah, that's definitely a small skiff.  I see you have a couple of nice hard cases in the skiff.  Do you use GPC or Nanuk cases?  I have Nanuk cases for all my drones. I live on a large boat and take out my small 22 footer on occasion so having waterproof cases is a must in my opinion.

In this case we had GPC cases for all the drones and cameras.  
Our plan is to go back in August and camp.

Yep exactly...I keep thinking of bringing my X7 and 50mm up there
