Trying numurous firmware updates through dji fly or assistant 2 nothing is clearing the country code not updated issue. Also now have an error trying to refresh the goggles via assistant 2. When checking firmware and flysafe updates in djy fly it says firmware is current. So completely stuck. Have seen posts on reddit with exact same issue and i'm sure there are others. Any ideas or suggestions?

Go outside, run Fly on your phone.  Power up the drone, goggles, & MC3.  Connect the goggles to the phone via USB.  Make sure Fly acknowledges the goggles are connected (you should see the live video feed from the drone).  Once the drone acquires a GPS lock your country code will be updated & the error will be dismissed.

OMG! I can't believe it was that simple to fix! Country code error went away in 30 seconds. Can't thank you enough! You rock!

It is recommended to perform the setup in an open environment with strong GPS signals. After the country code is automatically refreshed, restart the aircraft to resolve this issue. i´m from Chile and i bought an avata 2... i had exactly the same problems that you tell here and i was able to solve them with your indications... thanks a lot! you saved my life!

I've never heard that version either, but there's a very similar saying in my language - even a blind chicken will eventually peck a seed
