thanks DT,    Fun fact with this one,   if I dropped or climbed with the drone anymore than about 20ft and the sun would disappear.  

Good timing I guess. Probably dreary again after a minute.

And a tight time window too,    it wasnt long before it rose behind the clouds.   No Avata flght for me yesterday due to the rain all day. .    Will try again today though.

Ironically it rained most of the day after that.   I was supposed to be re sanding the parents patio but it was just too wet.

Hopefully, today will be a much better weather day for you and you can get the Avata 2 back up in the air again.  I see your feet flown has increased again since I last looked so between Avata 2 and Mini 3 Pro and a bit of good weather you should be at 313M feet before long.

Getting windy again.   But Im going to try and fly a couple of batteries at high tide again.    Ive found the new bag will take the avata + goggles etc and fit in the Mini3 Pro and controller +spare batteries really easily.

Wow, that bag turned out to be a great choice for you then.  I guess the Mavic 2 Pro will have to make a guest appearance on its own once in a while.  No way you'll be able to squeeze than in also.

You think it will fit in also?  Meaning with the Avata 2 and Mini 3 Pro already in the ruck sack.  If so, that bag must have a lot more room than it appears.

Probably not,  but would be good in the car and then when I reach the destination I can decide on which one to remove based on weather.

I just watched a video on that this morning.  I wonder if it will be a cheaper version kind of like the did the Mini 3 Pro and then the Mini 3 or will it be a much lighter version to meet EASA requirements.

I think the codes people are talking about may be regional codes such as CE and FCC models of what we already have - it would not make commerical sense for DJI to cannibalise their own products by releasing something that will prevent sales of a recent release. If people think another model is due out very soon they won't buy the current one and there are a lot of DJI haters out there who would love to sabotage Avata 2 sales with misinformation. We may see an Avata 2 Pro or Avata 2 Toy later down the line but I would be shocked if that happened anytime soon.
