I have recently uploaded the latest update for the RC2 but the App version has not updated to 1.13.1 but the Firware version has updated

I had attempted to upload and install the update for the DJI RC 2 and found that the DJI Fly App had not updated.  Initially I just used the control linked ti the internet and when I found the app had not updated to 1.13.1 and the Firmware for the controller is 02.02.0000.

Hi, there. You can enter the DJI Fly App, click [Profile] - [Settings] - [About] - [Check For Updates] to detect the latest version of the app and update it.

I have done this and the response is that the app is up to date but when I check in Camera View About it shows the app is still 1.13.0

Hello. You can download the installation package (APK file) through the computer and directly connect the RC Pro to the computer through a type-C cable or use the SD card method and transfer it to the RC 2, and find the corresponding installation package file for installation.
1. Download the APK file from the official DJI website
https://www.dji.com/uk/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly
2. Move the file to the root directory of the SD card; or connect the RC 2 to the computer via a type-C cable and move it to the built-in storage of the RC Pro.
3. Enter the corresponding path through the RC 2 file manager, find the APK file, and click the file to install.
4. Click the file to update/upgrade (the update in this way will cover the original App version and the original data will not be lost).
Please keep us updated if the issue persists.

I would ask that a new firmware update may be appropriate to install the DJI Fly app 1.13.1 on the DJI RC2.

Hi, there. You can click the Andriod icon and there should be a download of apk file initiated on your PC.

It looks like DJI has a problem updating the Fly separately from the remote controller firmware. I think that first there will be another firmware for the remote control with Fly 1.13.1 already installed. Only then will it be possible to update Fly separately without having to update the remote control firmware every time.

Last firmware for the RC2 1.13.0 resulted in lag on boot up and other lag issues.

To better help you with the issue you encountered. May I ask about the model of your drone? Could you please tell us more details about the lag issues you mentioned? Do you have any video can send us for better checking?

Okay, so I missed the update to 1.13.1. So with this link above I am downloading the most recent version, which is 1.13.2. Following the procedure above I am able to execute the APK-file but it will not update, instead the message appears, stating that I am not allowed to install apps. It looks like something is completely wrong, DJI. The Mini 4 pro is already upgraded to 01.00.0500 that requires DJI Fly 1.13.1 or higher. Does this mean that I cannot fly the drone? Please help!

The built-in DJI FLY APP in the DJI RC2 was supposed to be updated along with the firmware of the remote controller.
However, after DJI RC 2 V02.02.0000, it supports updating the built-in DJI Fly APP separately.
You can update the DJI FLY APP without waiting for the release of the next firmware version.
We read that your DJI RC 2 does not have the lagging issue on booting up above.
Should users have the issue, please tell us more information so that we can troubleshoot the issue further.

When the Fly update appears, there will be a red mark and the new version will be indicated.

I know. Unfortunately this procedure doesn't work as it keeps reporting that the most recent version is installed. The installed version is v1.13.0, which is definitely not the latest version. So I followed the procedure described in the very beginning of this thread.
At this moment I regret the purchase of the M4P with the RC2 instead of the RC-N1 like the M3P I had before. On my iPhone the update to v1.13.2 was no problem at all.

Hi there, I got an update from our engineer that there is a difference between upgrading the APP for the DJI RC 2 alone and upgrading the APP on the mobile phone. When the upgrade is avaliable for the DJI RC 2, DJI will push a notification to you. Therefore, it may happen that the mobile phone can upgrade the latest version of the APP, but the RC or RC 2 cannot receive it. This is normal. We recommend you wait patiently for the update notification.
